  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

For the filling:

  • 2 potatoes, diced into small pieces
  • 1 onion, diced into small pieces
  • 300 grams of ground beef/chicken
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, vegetable oil, salt, and sugar. Mix well.

2. Slowly add water and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover the bowl with a damp towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.

3. To make the filling, heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant.

4. Add ground beef/chicken, curry powder, salt, and sugar. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through, then add the diced potatoes. Cook until the potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.

5. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

6. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into 1/8 inch thickness. Use a round cookie cutter to cut out circles.

7. Spoon the filling onto one side of the circle, leaving some space around the edges. Fold the other side on top and use a fork to seal the edges.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
