Ingredients:

- 1 package of firm tofu

- 1 pound of ground pork

- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce

- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil

- 1 tablespoon of garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon of ginger, minced

- Salt and pepper, to taste

- 7-8 dried shiitake mushrooms

- 1/2 cup of dried black fungi

- 1/4 cup of dried lily flowers

- 1 cup of snow peas, trimmed

Instructions:

To start, mix together the ground pork, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic and ginger in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Next, cut the tofu into small cubes and using a spoon or melon baller, scoop out small rounds from the center of each piece.

Stuff the tofu with the pork mixture and set aside.

Soak the shiitake mushrooms in water until they're soft. Remove the stems and chop the mushrooms into small pieces.

Soak the black fungi in water until they're soft. Rinse and drain.

Soak the lily flowers in water until they're soft. Cut off the hard ends and rinse.

Now it's time to make the sauce. Heat some oil in a wok or large frying pan and add the snow peas. Cook for a minute or two until they're bright green. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Add some more oil to the pan and sauté the mushrooms until they're fragrant. Add the black fungi and lily flowers and continue to cook for a few minutes.

Add a cup of water and let the mixture come to a boil. Carefully place the stuffed tofu into the wok or pan and let it simmer in the sauce for about 10 minutes.

Serve the Yong Tau Fu Chinese Style with steamed rice and enjoy a delicious and flavorful meal!
